Redstone Properties Brings Music to U.S. Soldiers WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- In an effort to help raise the spirits of the men and women serving the United States around the world, Redstone Properties, Inc. has donated 1,000 copies of 2006 American Idol winner Taylor Hicks' self titled album to Soldiers' Angels, the country's largest non-profit military support organization. "We rely on donations for all of our efforts," said Debby Frerichs, Vice President of Donations for Soldiers' Angels. "Our First Response Backpack program is designed to bring comfort to injured soldiers, who often arrive at hospitals with nothing other than the uniform on their back. This generous contribution from Redstone will go a long way in making life a little more enjoyable for them." The work of Soldiers' Angels has been recognized by the Department of Defense and Patti Patton-Bader, the group's founder and the niece of General George S. Patton, has been awarded the Civilian Award for Humanitarian Service by the Department of the Army. "We are extremely impressed with the work that Soldiers' Angels is doing on behalf of our hardworking troops," said Mike Patten, founder of Redstone Properties. "We are pleased to be able to support them in their efforts. Making this donation is our way of extending our thanks, love, and gratitude, to our country's heroes."
