With his debut self-titled album recently in stores, it's only fitting that his next step is to hit the road. Many of his fans insist that the soulful singer is at his best when he's in front of a live audience. That would explain why he won American Idol, and also why his album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and then took a nosedive to No. 15 the following week. That's gotta sting.

But, on the plus side, 500,000 copies have been sold and something tells me that he won't have any trouble filling seats at his upcoming shows. According to Billboard, his U.S. tour will kick off on Feb. 21 and wrap up on April 27. That gives you two months to dig into savings, splurge on tickets, and begin the calendar countdown. You know who you are.
